| I got to ride in a Farrari GTO on the infield track at Lowes Motorspeedway today. It was the most awesome turn around the track I have ever taken. The Italia foreign car division was putting on an event and I was working as a corner worker/flagger. The man putting on the event, Dan Unkefer, arranged for the corner workers to take a turn at high speed around the course if we wanted. Truely the most awesome trip I have taken. The driver is very involved with the Foreign sports car race venue and with Cars Italia....I can’t wait until they come again and I get to work in the corner for them. This is a truly awesome car and I wish all could just once take that ride around a road course at speed with a premium driver.,Farrari is the best.,Catherine DeShazo,NASA-Southeast Road racing Association with the Southeast. |
