Ferrari 288 Evoluzione

Very little is known about this car, due to the diminutive numbers made. There are technical specifications below (please contact us if you can fill in any blanks), but there is little to say about what the car was used for. The fact that the stumpy, multi-slotted, multi-winged prototype known as the 288 Evoluzione was in fact a test bed for the Ferrari F40 is known. There is, however, little to say what tests were carried out on the car and what results were achieved. If you have any information or know of any related books then please contact us. Five of the prototypes were built, with one being retained by the factory and the other four in private collections.
