Hartmann Ferrari F40

Although designed mainly for the road, when it came to competition race-prepared F40s more than held their own, and proved quicker on many circuits then McLaren's F1 GTR.

Clocked at a staggering 230mph (370km/h) with less than full turbo boost in operation, this F40 is nevertheless fully road legal and comes UK registered. Prepared to GT1 specification by Hartmann Racing, of Stuttgart, the car features bodywork by Michelotto, the firm responsible for development and preparation of the factory's race cars, and a special Sauber-prepared engine equipped with KKK turbochargers and capable of producing 720bhp. Chassis number 84326 timed fasted laps of 1m 3s on the Hockenheim short track and 2m 25s at Spa Francorchamps.
